A. Adornos have nothing to do with recapturing your balance. They
are a small figure that a woman can make. Sometimes the woman is to
stand still while the man adorns his dance and before they come together
the woman may make a small brush with her feet. It has nothing to do
with balance on either side. I have never heard of using adornos to
recapture balance. New one for me.

B: Many of the older dancers here have no idea of posture or balance or
axis. But their passion for the music is transmitted in a way that
makes them a pleasure to dance with. They are smooth and move easily
through the music. If you have ever been to Lo de Celia, Dock Sur or
any of the milongas in the neighborhoods you know what I mean.
