Dear friends from Tango list

A mail send by Ms Aurora Lubiz to a friend, came with the sad new of the passing away of Carmencita Calderon this past october 31st . She celebrate this year her 100th birthday in good shape and doing what she do best , dancing at a Milonga :)

There is not too much to said in this moment, there is a feeling of loss , of a person that go through all ages of tango , with partners as El Cachafaz and el Pibe Palermo . A couple of years ago a special performance at Colon theatre was made to greet her ,and she dance with all the dancers on stage, Copes, Rivarola , it was marvellous .

Farewell Carmencita !!!!
