Subject: Dancing with the Stars Part II ... Feedback/Comments

Hi everyone,

Only had a chance to watch the video this morning for Part II of Dancing
with the Stars. What did all of you think? This time around, there
seemed to be more positive remarks from all our Forums members at
https://dancescape.com/mydancefriends

We Definitely LOVED John and Charlotte ... it was beautiful to see
basics that continued to build with "highlights"! Think there is a
lesson for new dancers and syllabus dancers that great basics with calm
quiet tops and phrased choreography is lovely to watch. Charlotte is
such a talented dance star and coach!

AND ... it is beautiful to see the "oldest" (can't believe that was said
of Charlotte! ) couple on the floor perform with such grace, class and
sense of humour and FUN. They definitely are the couple to beat among
the other "youngsters"!

We just hope that in future episodes, they will show the Tango, whether
International Style or Argentine. Charlotte is well versed in
International style, but maybe she might bring in some Argentine.

Thought Joey and Evander's choreography were too advanced and "busy" for
their level, size of floor, and the preparation time needed to
successfully pull off ... if each of them had incorporated more basics
and then enhanced by short bursts of scatter chasses, lines, etc. it
really would have made it more competitive with John. And less
"painful". Valiant effort nonetheless and still FUN to watch them go
for it! Anyone who has started to learn scatter chasses and other
advanced quickstep figures for the "first" time, can probably relate to
feeling and looking like lumbering elephants. Practice makes perfect and
it will be really great to watch them continue to improve. We just hope
the professionals and the stars take note of Charlotte & John's strategy
and start incorporating choreography that includes more basics!

Kelly must have a strong fan base given her performance last week! Um,
did anyone else think her costuming and hair made her look a bit like
and "exotic" dancer? Didn't really make her look "classy" at all ...
almost "slutty".

Think Louis and Trisha were really "hurt" by some of the comments that
were made last week when unfortunately, the editing for television
included certain comments about his being a legend and worshipped. No
doubt, he is a legend, but for the general public who doesn't truly know
Louis' background, it may not have helped in the actual voting process.
Louis looked great dancing, and was gracious during the interview.

Rachel Hunter is wonderful and classy looking! It really does help that
she has had lots of Ballet training.
