According to the Diccionario del Habla de los Argentinos from the Academia
Argentina de Letras, published 2004 (page 402):

milonga: musical folk composition of muted rhythm and melancholic tones
played with guitar; musical composition with a lively rhythm and marked time
of 2/4, related to tango; [colloquial] place or party to dance; [colloquial]
difficulty, problem.

milonguear: [verb, colloquial] to dance; [colloquial] to go out to have a
good time with a group.

milonguero/ra: [adjective] pertaining to or related to the milonga;
[colloquial] enthusiast or regular customer in the milongas or any other
popular dance.

Lunfardo began as the preferred jargon of thieves and delinquents from 1870
to 1920-1925.


None of the three words listed above was cited as lunfardo in any of the
definitions.
