Subject: Congrats to Univ. of Michigan Tango Club

Just wanted to offer our congratulations to Ramu, Liliana, Anna,
Melida, Kim, Jennifer, and the rest of the Tango club at the
University of Michigan. They had their very first tango festival
last weekend, and it was a great success. Over 100 people at the
workshops and milongas. Smiles everywhere. And such charming hosts,
despite the pressures they had.

In the month preceding the event, the club did a great job developing
relationships with organzers in the tri-state area by visiting
milongas across three states. Folks came from all over - Pittsburgh,
Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Chicago, Toledo, Texas, West Virginia -
to name a few.

Tom Stermitz, the guest instructor and deejay, was charismatic and
very well-received. He handled the large workshops very well, and
folks did not want to the milongas to end. Ramu also had fun
alternative music to end the evenings.

If this is any indication of how our next generation of tangueros
will grow tango, we can look forward to exciting times in tango's
future.

Trina & Sean
Pittsburgh

P.S. We have no financial interest in this.

I have to second the praise to the University of Michigan Tango Club. It
was a very well organized festival even if it was their first time. I was
hosted with my partner by a very nice couple arranged by Ramu. Thank you
Ramu, we had a memorable Week End. The people in Ann Arbor were very warm
in their welcome to us. Looking forward to next year!

Guy and Anne,
Houston.
