I want to join with Robin and Dan in thanking all the participants, local and
visiting, in last weekend's Close Embrace gathering in Denver. It was an
amazing sensation to be in a room with 300+ people who all had the same goal
... dancing Tango in the milonguero style, simple, subtle figures danced with
feeling, connection with their partners ... I felt like a kid in a candy
store and all the goodies were mine for the asking.

As a fairly new dancer, it was a tremendously enriching experience to have
the opportunity to dance with so many accomplished men and women. Thank you
all for helping to make this such a wonderful, affirmative adventure. I feel
I grew as a dancer, and as a lover of Tango.

I will hope to see some of you at October's Tango Escape for our next
adventure!

I would like to add my congradulations to Tom Stermitz and the Denver tango community for a fabulous dance weekend. The previous Monday I had =
returned from 2+ weeks in Buenos Aires and the Denver weekend helped me integrate back into America. It has some of the flavor of dancing in =
Buenos Aires which by the way was wonderful. I had no problems, the milongas were crowded and the people nice, friendly and accomodating. =
The dollar goes very far in Buenos Aires at this time. More on BsAs in another post to the list.

I want to give my heartfelt thanks to the many beautiful in mind, body spirit and dance milongueras (yes I am calling you milongueras) that I =
had the priviledge of dancing with. There were many more that I would have loved to dance with, but there just wasn't enough time and I only =
missed a small amount of the available dance time. In fact I danced so much and slept so little that on Monday, in my home, I went to bed at =
4PM and didn't get up until my alarm went off at 6AM on Tuesday. I don't believe I have ever slept that long at one time in my life. =
Thanks for wearing me out. I am ready for more though.

I enjoyed most of the events and dances being in the same venue, our hotel. It made it so much easier to get to everything. And what can I =
say about Cheeseman Park but WOW!!! Has to be one of the best outdoor places to dance in the world. The sunset was just beautiful.

Wish we could do something like this about once a month or more. I am looking forward to Portland.

Again my HEART felt thanks. It takes a lot of work to put these type of events on. I can hardly wait to dance with all again.

:):):):):):):)'s!!!!
