Hey Ricardo,

Glad you got a chance to see Glover and the Tosca String Quartet (four
violins) in California. They really are fantastic. Glover plays solo
piano in Houston every Monday for about twenty of us tangueros who show
up at The Continental Club. And he plays Thursdays in Austin, normally
with a couple other people; maybe a bass and a violin. Or he'll play
accordion (occasionally bandoneon), while someone else plays piano, etc.
He is a very fine discriminating musician, composer, arranger, and lover
of tango music. But you haven't really seen "Glovertango", until you've
seen the full seven-piece orchestra (Nov 21 in Houston, can't wait!!!)

When you go to his website www.glovertango.com
<https://www.glovertango.com/> , you'll see 6 or 8 CD's, almost all of
them from his early days with "Tosca" (now kinda gone by the wayside,
and not to be confused with the "Tosca String Quartet"). These CDs
contain some really pretty music, but for the most part very "Piazzola",
and not played by them anymore. His CD "Solo Tango" is really excellent,
very golden age, even his original composition "Milonguita Irmita". I
can't wait till the whole band records a new CD!

By the way it's Glover "Gill", (not Dill), and I hope you all have a
chance to hear them sometime. I've heard some good tango bands, such as
"Extasis" in Denver, and "Tango Lorca" in Missouri. They are great
musicians, and very talented, but the music is not what I like to dance
to (Dan Diaz and the Tango Camerata come much closer). But Glovertango
plays really great "golden age" tango music for dancers! We in
Houston/Austin greatly appreciate Glover, and all his cohorts!

Warm regards to all,

Michael from Houston
