Was this from an Argentine Cd ? who was the publisher?
anyways, I currently have around 60 versions of la cumparsita on mp3.
My favorite is from Sexteto Mayor (iMHO one of the better groups out
there).

To conserve space, given the e-mail limitation, I am also replying to
Gunter who asked where to get tango mp3.

Like I stated in my introductory e-mail, there is so much stuff out there
on the internet all for free. If you have a broadband connection, even
better!

use any of the file sharing programs like kazaa, morpheus etc, and search
for tango.
unfortunately most of the hits are clogged with reference to shakira's
lousy excuse for a tango, but if you can separate the wheat from the
chaff, you will find a treasure trove of music.

I have amassed almost 200 tango mp3 and have my own compilations.
if you want more technical info, e-mail privately and will gladly be of
help.
