Subject: Misha and Sarah of Chicago

Hi all, Happy New Year!

Just wanted to brag about my experience with Misha and Sarah of Chicago. They had contacted me they would be in the area and wanted to see =
Murray's and dance with us. Having nothing going on over New Year's, I said, "I'll have a milonga for you." I sent press releases to all the =
area papers, and to local tango friends, to come Fri the 2nd

Well, response was wonderful, I had 54 positive calls and almost as many show up. Class and performance was advertised as free, but when they =
called, I said donations accepted. Free got me in the papers.

I drew from Springfield and Joplin, and a special thanks to tangueros who came from Tulsa and Kansas City.

Promoting is not the subject here, just setting the stage for what impromptu can sometimes do.

What it did was introduce me to the best teachers I have seen in a long time. I was so thrilled, they did all the right stuff. They =
concentrated on how to lead and follow, dancing only in the outer lane, walking, never passing, and dancing in the space behind you. Only at =
the very last of class did they introduce the ocho.

If participants wanted more, they certainly saw what was in store for them. Misha and Sarah gave a beautiful performance of what was to come =
if they continued their tango. AND, they danced with everyone at the milonga, the real test of their genuine desire to teach.

I am so anxious to see how many show up for class next week, I guess THIS is the real test.

Check them out at www.mgoro.com/tango.html

But pictures cannot show the warmth and passion both possess. Misha, with his Russian accent, is very clear and precise, a lot of fun and =
pleasure to have. Sarah is so beautiful, and a beautiful personality to match. She was not just a partner, but contributed her say whenever she =
wanted.

Thanks to Misha and Sarah for this meeting in Mt Vernon, Missouri. Hope they will come back. (Still working on a Meeting in the Middle Milonga. =
Maybe the first weekend in Aug. Finishing the second dance floor downstairs is the key to my planning, and it's coming along.)

Peace in the New Year,
Karen
