Micheal FIG'art'

with a last name like your by definition you were 'branded' with no taste.
The very fact that you and/or your parent(s) did not change that obviously
primitive(in the worst way) name speaks for itself.

So go home and have a banana and be happy. I believe my 'existence' on this
list add(s) a little 'zing'tha i needed by intellectual and esthetic
lightweight(s) like you.

I ahve read some of your previous post and I looked in wonder and prasie the
progresive attitude of the list manager(s) for letting a congenital
idiot(ain't no shame one is born every minute) make contribution to this
discourse.

Wow, I used to dislike this, but now I have got me ticket for the front row
to watch this match between a schizo with delusions of grandeur who copies
the e-signature of an embassy into his hotmail address, and a Texan who
tries to shoo him out. This is entertaining.
Better to read some insane exchange of arguments than the tedious demands of
pc-fanatics, certain ladies' scolding reminders for the outspoken to be more
nicey-nicey, and being treated to endless frequent postings of the downright
dumb.

Dearest Ostrish,

READ very carefully and slowly now.

I believe that MYDOL has some extra large suppository. I am one to always
look after those in need. You obviously have some. So please be satiated.

Delusion of grandeur are fine when 'earned' The name Astrid convey(s) that
you parent(s) must have conceived you after watching 'gigi' or 'doctor
givago' or some other silly 60'ish cinematic soap opera that passed for
intelligent cinema at the time. But actually where marketed to readers of
readers digest and other 'condensed' literature. Actually your father was
drunk of his ass and your mom just bought a new 'bidet' thinking it was a
new 'chic' aparture until she found out that it was not to wash the socks.
Actually the puerto rican plumber was first to help her discover it's use
and she obliged when your father came home unexpectedly from his job in a
nuclear plant. A job that affected his sperm. After your unexpected birth
your mom read about a diatery fad that persuaded her to feed you a spoonfull
of lead and mercury along with your cornflakes.

Did you get your vocabulary from cliff note. I accidently met your boyfriend
and he told me that he had a vasectomy the day you mentioned starting a
family. I received great joy from you having an epileptic fit and losing
control during the 'dance' but could not reproduce with you.

Be well my dear. Hold on to your man.

Sincere Appreciation,

Lord Fried Chiken Eater

Ouff! Shocking things to read on Tango-L. Sad, very sad!

As I do not like the idea of a reintroduction of 'moderators' on
Tango-L but as I am also shocked (!) by the current postings of a
person posting under the name or "herve michel" I suggest to "herve
michel" to either switch back to lurking mode or leave the group
voluntary *as soon as possible*!!!

Tango-L is a forum for those seriously interested in argentine tango
in large extend (sometimes some are too serious, but that's another
story ... and I do not mind a strong going on discussion (without
insulting!)), but Tango-L definitely is not intended to be a
playground for infantil comments!!!

"herve michel": _please leave_ asap!

it was an outstanding parody of the machista attitude.

Has anyone even met this guy face-to-face on this list?

Granted that Herve puts a lot of people off, and sometime it's hard to
even understand him at times, and he tends to use a howitzer when a
flyswatter would do nicely, but ...

Consider him a touchstone for tolerance. After all, untested virtues are
merely imaginary.

Hi, Christopher,

I'm with you as far as believing that we do not need a
censor, and that most of us can simply stand reading
garbage long enough to find the delete key. I'd like
to tell you, though, that I bet his post directed to
Astrid seemed more shockingly rude to the female
reader than to the male. It is extremely unpleasant
to come face to face with misogyny if you are female.
And he simply could not have written that post if he
really liked and respected women as a group. It stank
of contempt for women's bodies and of disrespect for
them as social beings.

As for tolerance, I guess if you find him funny you
will need to pick another writer for your touchstone.

Marisa

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION: I hope that those of us who feel that "HERVE MICHEL"
has forfeited his/her right to be read on this list will, as I will do,
delete his/her postings without being read. There will not ever be a time when I
will resume reading his/her posts. Same goes for anyone else who oversteps the
bounds of good manners.
This has nothing at all to do with equal opportunity, diversity or freedom of
speech. It has everything to do with "doing unto others that which you would
have them do unto you".
If we continue to reply to his postings, either positively or negatively, it
continues to give the bad energy a forum.
Herve Michel's sour energy will not find a roost here, and if the rest of us
refuse to accept it as well, he will hopefully resort to more acceptable
behavior.
Life is too short to spend our time trying to correct an errant mind with
reprimands, as it will have no effect. Better to ignore the source of the bad
behavior and not give it a forum to shine.

Norwithstanding Herve's controversial and abrasive posts, or other people's
silly or argumentative posts (there are IMHO other transgressors similarly
obnoxious). I respectfully suggest that the best moderator (censor) is worse
(and worst for the tango-l) than any Herve or Figart, etc.

With best regards,

Manuel

I like this list much better than when it was moderated. I also wish to thank Shahrukh for his efforts to make Tango-L what it has become. The only moderator we need is our delete key.

If you need a laugh at stupidy, read the posts from the few jerks from time to time. If not use the delete key.

For the rest of the people that give good content to this list, there too many to name, I thank you all.

I don't write well enough to participate as much as I would like.

Thanks to all and Tango Forever

Yes, I agree. Figart II, should stop trying to ruin &
contaminate Tango-L. He should stick to ruining &
contaminating Tango in Houston...
