Subject: Photos from Tango Noir at Brooklyn Museum of Art

I would like to share some photos I took this past Saturday at the Brooklyn
Museum of Art. The first Saturday of every month the Museum stasy open til
midnight and puts on a free celebration with exhibitions, films, gallery
talks, wine, music, a dance lesson and dancing. This month the theme was
TANGO NOIR and there must have been 500 people in the Beaux Art Hall for the
tango lesson. Looking out across the room, my friend and I were reminded of
the old photos you see from Bs As of the football fields full of people
dancing. It was packed! There was such energy in the room; there were all
sorts of funky folks and kids and everyone was having a great time. Imagine
of all these people joined the tango community!

Anyhow, here are the photos if you are interested. The akwardness of people
dancing something new is amusing and beautiful at the same time.
