Subject: S.V.P (S'il vous plait) in CDs.

Evan Wallace writes: "I am looking for any CD with "Si Vous Plait" (or
SVP-I'm not sure which
is the actual title). I believe it is by Piazolla-does anyone on the
list have any information? Carlos Gavito danced to this in Forever Tango
if memory serves. I've searched for it on a number of occasions, here
and in Argentina, and keep coming up empty-handed. Any help would be
appreciated."

Astor Piazzolla earned a scholarship to study music at the Paris
Conservatory but once in France he decided to study with the famous musician
Nadia Boulanger. The conditions of his grant were that he could not perform
in public but he could do recordings.
It was during that period that he composed many famous tangos that were
recorded there. S.V.P was one of them written together with Marcel Feijoo.
Many of those initial recordings are sold-out but it is possible to find
some in Europe recorded by other musicians.

S.V.P (S'il vous plait) (it means *please* in French) can be found in the CD
"Homage to Astor Piazzolla" played by Ivette Horner.
