The article *with* the pictures and *without* having to register for the
Seattle Times website, can be found via Google News

tnx for the direct link!!!

but, well, hmm, IMHO, let's say ...
... I would *not* like to eat or drink from tables (or bars) where
other people have been walking with their shoes on!!! :-(((

at CITA's final night I saw a tanguera unpacking her new (probably
just bought that day) tango shoes and putting the high heels on the
festive table ...
... it was a very attractive women I otherwise would have asked to
dance ... but this pulled down my attraction immediately. [actually I
think it was even worse doing so in a foreign country ... I doubt any
argentian would do that ... and those people were 'just' guests.]

tango as a table [go go??] dance ... hmm! :-(((

for me *real* tango does not show off ... *just* comes from within
... in the middle of the crowd, for the couple themselves, not for
the outside.

just some thought by

Thanks for the google news link thing. Dancing in resteraunts, reminds me of the PastaBar I danced with Lois in, during my cooooooooooold trip to Mpls, MN last winter.
My girlie-friend is from Seattle & I got to dance up there a few times this summer. The
Tango scene seems kinda split-up/fragmented somehow. Its a way bigger city than Portland, thought for sure the # of Tango dancers would be per captia, larger.
