Subject: Tango "Recuerdo"

Hi folks,

Yes, the one with music by Pugliese and lyrics by
Moreno. I have the version on the album of Orquesta
Tipica Victor 1925-31 with Roberto Diaz as
estrebillista, doing one verse only. (BTW, if you
don't know it, it's really incredible!)

I understand there's at least one other version with
the complete lyrics by Alberto Gomez, also with
Orquesta Tipica Victor, and also done in the 20's
sometime. Does anyone know on which Orquesta Tipica
Victor album it is? Also, are there any other
versions? By any other orchestras and/or singers?
Please write to me privately. I get this List in
digest format and have not been able to handle it at
all well lately. I marvel at where people get the time
to write at such length. :)
