A suggestion to those who promote their tango web sites here on tango-l:
The competition by which you and your pages (commercial or non-commercial)
will be judged is formidable (IMHO).

I suggest that every tango aficionado bookmark https://www.todotango.com.ar/

It is a major bi-lingual effort. The wealth of information is far too great
to dismiss this as just another commercial venture. I particularly enjoy
two features. First, the ability to read the lyrics while they are sung by
eminent tango artists is very helpful for my "castillano as a second
language" ears (not to mention the lunfardo). Second, the biographical and
historical information concerning the poets, musicians, and "the times" of
tango's golden age is very stimulating. You musicians, I know, are
acquainted with the sheet music archives. There is much to appreciate and
ponder here.

Enjoy,

Frank - Mpls.

(Todo Tango)

I agree with Frank Williams that Todo Tango <https://www.todotango.com/> is
an outstanding website for tango,

Some others that I like include:
To Tango <https://totango.net/> -- tango music, orchestras, dancers and history
El Portal del Tango <https://elportaldeltango.com/> -- tango history, music, orchestras and more

If you are willing to live with fewer graphics, these older tango websites
are also quite nice:
Cyber-Tango <https://www.cyber-tango.com/> -- a very comprehensive tango website
Ernesto's Tango Page <https://members.ping.at/kdf-wien/tango/> -- a very comprehensive tango website
Christian's Tango and Bandoneon Information
<https://www.inorg.chem.ethz.ch/group/cm/> -- a fairly comprehensive tango website

After these, mostly there are many useful tango websites that specialize
in a few topics.
Tango Argentino de Tejas <https://www.tejastango.com/>
-- instructional videos and music
Tango Lyrics Homepage
<https://argentina.informatik.uni-muenchen.de/tangos/>
Tango Noticias <https://www.tangonoticias.com/>
-- tango magazine for Chicago
Juan D'Arienzo's Discography
<https://users.pandora.be/tangoteca/darienzo/index.html>
Anibal Troilo <https://www.troilo.com.ar/>
-- much about the maestro including his complete discography
Piazzolla.org <https://www.piazzolla.org/>
-- much about the maestro and his music
All Things Argentine Tango <https://members.aol.com/atango2/index.html>
-- Polly McBride's Insights

With best regards,
