Subject: TangoFest - Lost & Found items

Here's a list of leftover stuff I've got. There may be a few more items at the BossaNova, which I'll try to get soon. Regarding sound quality, I'm baffled why anyone would want to dance to the Golden Age all night long, when the sound quality of the modern dance orchestras are so superior. Easy to get 1/2 an evening with Color Tango, El Arranque, Los Reyes, etc, etc, etc.

Conjunto Berretin played for Friday nights dance at the Norse Hall. With the help of Bill Peterson's sound, it was a surreal experience, so beautiful. So, I would add this group to the list of tandas as well. https://www.tangoberretin.com/band/band.html

I find these two entries in the list of lost and found rather disturbing:

>men's left shoe -black, "todd welsh", size ~11
>women's right dance shoe - black, 3" hell, "neo tango"

The question begs to be asked: "What happened to the other shoe in the
pair?"

Was it taken as a souvenir by secret admirer after one sizzling tanda?
Exchanged as token of appreciation after the same?

Have men's right shoe AKA Todd Welsh found a soulmate in the woman's left
shoe AKA Neo Tango and they left together leaving the old pair heart-broken?
If so what can/should be done?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Cheers, Oleh K., in inquisitive mood

Oh, the stories the lost and found can inspire:

>From: Rick FromPortland <pruneshrub04@YAHOO.COM>

Two women's entries:

>women's skirt - "GAP - Tried & True" very short, black leather, size 8
>slinky black dress, "la movers" slinky

And two matching men's entries

>denim shirt - long sleeves, faded blue, size L, mans?, stinky, needs
>washing
>T-shirt - extra-L, men's, black, stinky, needs washing

These could have been sourly missed:

>2 boxes "altoids" - curiously strong peppermints, "dove"

Tango - the dance of passsion...
