Could someone translate this for me please. I tried to order some tango CD's from Uruguay and got this reply. My Spanish was largely acquired =
from cowboy films in the 1950's.

Thank you

The Alta Vist Bablefish translator renders the following translation:

WARNING THE DESTINATION COUNTRY MUST BE ENTERED SO THAT THE SYSTEM
CALCULATES THE SHIPMENT COST, THIS WAY WE DO NOT SEE ANOTHER OPTION THAT TO
GIVE THE MERCADERIA IN URUGUAY. OF BEING THEREFORE WE REQUESTED TO HIM
INDICATES BY THIS ROUTE THE MAILING DRESS To HIS YOU ORDER

Clearly not 100% accurate, but you can probably get the drift from the
context.

A good way to translate is with:

https://translate.google.com/translate_t

Years ago I bought a program to do translations. I found it handy
every now and then when reading messages on tango-L. But now it is all
available free on the Internet.

Isn't Google great? If anyone has a website and would like tips on how
to bring up your page rank in Google let me know.

Also if you'd like a Google email account account at gmail.com let me
know -- it would be nice if you could over a trade.

Speaking of a trades. If you'd like to exchange links let me know.

One of the best ways to improve your search engine ranking is by
linking to websites that have good Google PageRank.

If you're not familar with PageRank you can learn about it at:

(You can see your PageRank if you download and install the Google Toolbar.)

The short version of the Babble-Manuel translations is this:

When ordering please indicate (enter the data in the appropriate field I
guess) the country where you want them shipped. Otherwise they cannot tell
you the shipping cost and they can only quote you a price delivered in
Uruguay.

Many thanks to everybody who helped me with the message from the Uruguayan record store. I have sent them the information they need.

I was using them because they have Miguel Villasboas records. I was able to get one title from Amazon some years ago, but apart from that the =
only source I was able to find was in Japan, and horrendously expensive.

Dear List,
