Anyone know where to get where to get a tune called "por una cabesa"?
It seems like a wonderful tune for a First Dance at a wedding
reception. I may have spelled it incorrectly. This tune starts off
very simply, but then has a sudden dramatic cadence, which would be
great for dramatic "corte."

Watch the beginning and the end of the movie "True
Lies" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Has a comical tango to the music of "Por Una Cabeza."

Yeah, I giggled a lot watching the Governator dance the "tango" with Tia
Carrere.

It is, of course, although surprisingly not mentioned yet by any repliers,
one of Carlos Gardel's "greatest hits" and can be found on virtually
any one of the many compilations of his music.

It was also performed in the movie " Scent of a Woman" (starring
Al Pacino) by the well-known group "The Tango Project" and can
be found on their first CD.

On the other hand, "Por una cabeza" is a song about
losing - your bet at the races, your passionate love,
etc., which might not exactly be a good omen for a
wedding. Lyrics at -

Cheers!

Yes, but one bride said something like this about an Argentine tango
tune she picked for her wedding, "I didn't care that the lyrics were
about horse racing. I loved the music and none of the guests knew the
lyrics, so it worked really well as my First Dance."

Thanks so much everyone for telling me about the lyrics had no idea.
This is probably the same tune that the bride was talking about!
