I, too, second those emotions.

It is good to see the responses from women in defence of Alberto, who has
always seemed to me to be totally sincere, helpful and gentlemanly.
Generous.

Perhaps, Melanie, you got caught in the situation most of us did when
joining this unwieldy but interesting forum: jumping fast to a conclusion
you would not have made later on.

Well, you did spark a bit of activity that provided some interesting notes.

You'll notice Alberto hasn't responded in any way.

My guess is, he is mortified (and mystified) that his communication was so
mis-interpreted and thence become a heated topic.

My sense is, nobody wants him dissed because he has proven to be a lovely
guy over a long period of time on this list whose posts are welcomed as
much as any other.

And my sense is, nobody wants you hurt or dissed either.

I imagine every contributor to this list has felt slightly embarassed
about something put up at one time or another.

It's happened in our dancing, too. We live and learn and often enjoy
another dance with that person after the dust has settled and we got the
picture.

"Enough! Or, too much."
