Talcum as Astrid Sato recommends , makes the soles of the shoes to go
through a sticky floor.
At Confiteria Ideal in Buenos Aires, whith an usually sticky floor ( due to
high humidity around Buenos Aires), the
patrons place from time to time, talcum around the columns of the place,
therefore the dancers can go to the column,
apply talcum to the soles of theirs shoes before a tanda, and keep dancing.

Another product is resine as used for gymnastic exercises ( parallel bars,
lwight lifting) , to dry the hands before
the exercise and improve the grip.

Ballet dancers frequently apply resin to floors to improve their grip. It
reduces slipperyness.
