Subject: The subconcious mind of listeros...

Daniel Saindon says:

"For some reason that I cannot explain,
the listeros feel they have more to loose
then they have to gain with their contribution
to the List. How could we change this ?"

It seems that many subjects have already been discussed.
Some of them ad nauseam: the 8 count base and other aspects of the dance.
DJs., tango styles, etc. Some of us are afraid to be repetitive but the
truth is that the new comers to the list can benefit even from subjects that
have already been discussed.
Some people are selfish and rather share their knowledge if an only there is
any material gains for them.
Many more are disgusted with the moderators, their notes are rejected or
else they are supervised. They prefer other un-moderated venues.
It seems to me that the moderators have to follow rules imposed to them by
the institution that makes the List possible.(I am not sure but this is a
possibility).
I do not agree that there is platitude nor narrow-mindedness. Everyone has
something interesting to say an an opinion to give.
I never contributed before mostly because I do not have anything to say.
I enjoy reading postings from Sergio, Steve Brown, Tom Stermitz, Barbara
Garvey, Larry from LA, Melinda Bates and many others. I miss some of them.
I learnt a lot from their motes an so did many of my friends.

I wish many good tangos to all of you.:)
