Subject: Tango Danza's "Cuatro" Wows Chicago Critics and Audiences

Compania Tango Danza performed "Quatro" in the Chicago area this past
weekend and absolutely wowed audiences and critics alike. The company
consists of 3 couples - Leandro Palou and Andrea Misse, Gabriel Misse
(Andrea's brother) and Sol Alzamora and Diego Amorin and Vanesa Delio
together with Olga Kolkaurova, each of whom performed brilliantly for the
performances. As tickets for the Friday and Saturday night show dwindled and
eventually sold out completely, a third show was added for Monday night and
again, the entire theater was sold out. In fact, people were seen offering
sums of money well above face value to obtain tickets for the Monday
performance.

The demand for tickets was enhanced due to the superb reviews the troupe
received from renowned critics for the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago
Sun-Times, namely, Richard Christianson and Hedy Weiss, respectively.
Christianson called the show an "exuberant and elegant program of virtuoso
performance." He referred to the music as "irresistible" and the dancing as
"sensational", the women "svelte" and the men "strong".

Hedy Weiss referred to the dancers' "impeccable technique and eye-catching
choreography, exquisite, exceptionally sophisticated costumes and richly
atmospheric lighting" in her glowing review. I love Ms. Weiss's reference to
Andrea's collection of shoes as "having shoe fetishists in a high state of
excitement". Both reviewers enjoyed the eroticism of the various numbers
and the dazzling footwork displayed throughout the performances.

I urge tango lovers the world over to support this amazing ensemble of highly
trained and incredible dancers as they tour the U.S. and the world in the
coming years. They will delight you, excite you and leave you wanting to
dance tango more than anything else.
