Subject: Re: the 1200 kilometer rule
I have to agree with Linda, this is getting funny. After reading the claim for the nth time that the Mt. Vernon event was intentionally put on to destroy another event...which had to be a "nearby" event...no?...I had to go to mapquest to get some perspective. The two events were separated by 706.37 miles (for our fellow readers in the more sensible metric zone, that would be 1.130,192 kilometers). Is there a 1.200 kilometer rule for concurrent tango events for which I'm unaware? Thanks for all the entertainment, Derik (duck!).

At least I did not purposely set up an event to
compete with Denver and then try to put Denver out of
business, by drawing people away. This is exactly
what happened with the Mt. Vernon event vs. the long
established New Orleans event. Give me a break.
