Dear friends from tango list
Today the movie "Abrazos" will be released at local cinemas. The producer of this movie was also the organizer of the V Festival Buenos Aires Tango. It was conceived in first place as a recording of the activities of the Festival , but the director Mr. Rivas, interviewed today by local FM Tango , said that he felt in one moment , that people were as important as the musicians and dancers, since there were open air dancings on the streets, not arranged by the organizers , just people went to the shows and begun to dance . One saturday night at Corrientes Avenue , the avenue was made pedestrian , and several stages with live orchestras begun to play , and people begun to dance.
This is not the usual material about tango lessons, but may be interesting for those people outside Argentina to have a look of Buenos Aires at year 2003 and their people dancing tango just for the fun of it.
