Im am searching for "Adios pampa mia" without a vocalist, because a
friend of me would like to sing to it on a small fiesta argentina.
Does anbody know a source for it.

The Canaro versions of it that I've got all have vocals; the only
version I know oft without a vocalist is by Hugo Diaz' orchestra on
"Pero Yo Se".

There's a nice version w/out vocals on www.todotango.com,
if you can download and burn a CD. Apparently it's by
Quinteto Jose Libertella. I've never heard of them, but it
is OK.
Go to Lyrics, Alphabetical Listing, Adios Pampa Mia, and click
on Play While Reading (the Victrola icon on the right).

Hola Peter,
I often play Orquesta El Arranque's arrangement from the "Clasicos" CD at
our milongas - very high-quality no-vocal arrangement, also good for
dancing. Your friend would only be competing with a beautiful violin part
that carries the solo...As it happens, my partner is currently practicing
singing along with this one for a similar kind of performance venue to the
one you describe.
Alles Gute,
