Excellent instruction. Nice friendly group of people. Some
of us have been going for years -- it's better if beginners
have more experienced dancers as partners.

Come and enjoy.

Hi All,

I have been wondering for some time about what Marty suggests above and
wonder what others think. My wife and I are both beginners to tango.
We have attended a number of group classes and usually the instructor
has us rotate partners. This is fine with us, but I feel like it is the
blind leading the blind. I have wondered if we both would learn faster
if somehow we could be paired up to practice with experienced partners
who could give us both feedback on what would improve our connection,
our musicality, our interpretation, our embrace, my leading her
following (and maybe vice versa). (Actually, I tried following once, and
it was much harder than I thought) I have to admit, if practicing with
a more experienced partner would help, the next problem would be, why
would an experienced follow want to spend time practicing with a
absolute beginner leader, and vice versa. Certainly no one has ever
been in a trance from my leading, unless I accidentally stepped on them
and they passed out.
