What makes a DJ special?

He knows how to manage the dance floor, knows the music and the people's
inner side on the dance floor very well.(one kind of Gabriel Garcia
Marquez -- a famous book writer).

I know about one DJ who takes his job seriously Dr. Ruben Berdichesky from
Buenos Aires, Argentina. He once owned Club Juvenil in Buenos Aires, where
they
organized tango and milonga competitions. He also organized tango shows in
Mar del Plata with famous dancers such as Nito Garcia and Miguel Angel Pla.
He is a jack of all trades: a practicing surgeon, a web site designer,
restores and edits early tangos and other music. He played trombone and
saxophone with jazz bands and the likes of Gato Barbieri. He is a remarkable
tango dacer -- he knew how to dance Tango
Canyengue in 8 different styles. As a DJ at el Club Juvenil Dr. Berdichesky
kept people dancing for one (1) hour playing early Argentinean Tangos and
nobody would complain about the music he played. He lives in Buenos Aires
and does not go to the milongas execept to DJ or prepare the music ahead of
time in minidisks. He gets music from famous DJ's around the world not just
Tangos but all kinds of music.

Does he also play *this* non-tango-music at *Bs.As* milongas?
