I like the idea of booking ahead, a special follower, for a memorable tanda of
Color Tango or Los Reyes or Fernado Fierro or Miquel Villasboas or Cuarteto Cedron
or Sexteto Canyenque or Nuevo Quinteto Real or La Chicana or alt.tango.

Ocassionally I'll ask a follower, who emphatically replies: "I don't book ahead"!

To each his own I guess, but I'd never book ahead for any of those musical
selections......

I agree, different strokes for different folks.

I personally would never book ahead for a known tanda of old classic tango music.

I forgot to mention booking ahead for tandas of: Viqencia & Hugo Diaz &
NY Tango Trio & Leonard Cohen. The list of alternative tango songs would be in
the thousands...

I was quite flattered when a young man in Buenos Aires told me that he
wanted to dance to Pugliese with me. Booking ahead - or waiting until the
music starts - shows that you pay attention to the music.
