Does anyone have recommendations for places to stay in Buenos Aires October
4-17? Never been there, going for the festival, in the vicinity of Regente
Palace, Dolmen, and El Conquistador, where the events are. Any personal
recent experiences or recommendations relating to these three or others in
the vicinity, including apartments, sincerely appreciated. You can email
directly to me instead of posting comments to the list if you wish. Thanks.

On my most recent visits to Buenos Aires, I stayed at Dolores Longo's rental apartment -- https://ayacuchotango.com -- and thought it was fabulous. It was by far and away the best place I've stayed in my visits to Buenos Aires, and Dolores is a wonderfully responsible and responsive landlady. It's in a very safe part of town, and within a reasonable cab ride to most of the milongas.
