Subject: circle of milongueros

I attended the birthday celebration of milonguero Luis Domingo "Pirucho"
Ferrari (79) who hosted more than forty friends for an asado in Club
Bristol. There were nine milongueros, seven with whom I have had the
pleasure of dancing in the milongas. Pirucho was already talking about his
80th birthday celebration.

I was in the company of four milongueros who have been friends for 60 years:
Hector "Carpa" Delgado (72), Ernesto Ramon Delgado (68), Miguel Angel
("Pepino") Balbi (65), and Hugo Belvisi (66) because they lived in the same
neighborhood as boys. Others were Jose Luis "Pichi" Aceto (68), Mario
"Alito" Santamaria (74), Jorge Uzunian (72), and Roberto Bonavato.

What do you suppose nine milongueros talk about? You guessed it---tango.
Anything and everything concerning tango. I listen and learn. I hope to
include some of my photos of the milongueros in a book entitled, Married to
the Milonga--Interviews with the Milongueros of Buenos Aires.
