Hi all,

I'm currently reading "Paper Tangos" and the author talks about a quality in the dance known as "cobblestone," or "adoquin" (I think).

If anyone could elaborate on this, I'd be very grateful.

I once danced with a woman at a milonga in BsAs with the most
extraordinary quality of grounded-ness. the way she placed each foot
before transferring weight, was very soft yet firm, a quality of
into-the-earth.

The next day I met her at an outdoor milonga, which was where she
usually danced on cobblestones, literally.

Having cobblestone is the characteristic of a dancing in such a way that
one is capable of dancing on cobblestones.
