No need to bring your laptop computer. There are locutorios(1) almost on
every city block. You can use their computers for about 1 or 2 pesos per
hour. (U$S 0.30 to 0.60 / hour).

The locutorios sell phone cards for Europe or the USA that are very
inexpensive. 5 pesos (2 dollars will allow you to talk home for a while).

To bring a foreign cell phone will be very expensive to use.
