Hmmm, no Gabriel, I do not have a "concept" of what I am going to be led
through before it happens. There have been times when I have executed
some movement and had a sort out of body experience of what I am doing.
What went through my mind is "oh so that is the lead for that movement."

The dancers I dance with outside of the milongas create their own
sequences and movements. They do not sit down with Autocad, Photoshop,
or Illustrator and diagram the steps for me. They don't create a
comprehensive computer program to analyze the outcome or the probability
that I will be able to execute the step, and they don't run to their
dictionary to find the appropriate words to describe what they want to
do. They don't Google, they don't Yahoo, and yikes! They don't Tango-L
either. Strange as it may sound, they say "I want to show you
something." They lead me through something. I have no idea what that
something is or will be. In your words "I have no concept." I just
follow. They ask me what I thought. Sometimes they are pleased with the
outcome and they tell me we need to make it better or improve upon it,
other times they say forget it.

What is the joy of a good lead? A woman who can follow. (I don't live
in California anymore, so I don't have to be politically correct.)
