Subject: Cowboy Tango

Dear Listeros, Is there such a thing as Cowboy Tango? Country/Western dancers have Cowboy Cha-Cha, Cowboy Walze and other cross-overs to Country/ Western. Why not Cowboy Tango? (or Cowgirl Tango-sorry girls!!) If there is no such thing, do you suppose one could be created? How could it be created? Would Tangueros accept it more or only Country/Western dancers? Are there many Country/Western dancers in tango? What kind of music could be used?Would new music need to be created? What kind of steps would be involved? How would one promote it?What would be the appropriate clothing associated with the new dance?A cross between cowboy and tango outfits!!?Is there anything like Tango-L for Country/Western dancers? I would like to find out your ideas and thoughts on this. I have a lady friend who would like to dance Country/Western as well as tango. Warm RegardsTango Guy
