Subject: CW dance floor usage
In my experience, the floor adjusts to the music being played as well. Its interesting. A Texas 2-Step song, has fast lanes on the outside & a line dance may fit the music & line dancers are in the center of the floor. Sometimes a popular line dance can take the whole floor over (Tush Push for example). A Night Club 2 Step tempo will have slow romantic dancers in the center region & people dancing Night Club/California 2 step outside them. Choregraphed partner dances (Traveling Cha-Cha, Horseshoe, Schottische, Drifter) will take up the outside lanes totally, leaving room in the middle for stationary dances like West Coast Swing, Hustle, Night Club 2. 1 rocknroll song will be played (Sweet Home Alabama currently) & its a free for all everywhere. Country dancing is great cuz it has about 7 major partner dances, 3 or 4 choregraphed partner dances & a bunch of line dancing. Dancers are pretty versatile & its free during the week.
PS: the minimum wage in Saipan is $3.05. Electricians (which I am) & Plumbers make the same...
