Subject: Dancing against the line of dance.
Even if there is enough space to step back, 2, 3 or more steps against the
line of dance, how does the leader behind you knows that you are respecting
his space?
Maybe I am not dancing well enough but if somebody is approaching rapidly
the women in my embrace, backstepping and maybe against his line of sight
(and against the line of dance), my first impulse is to protect the women
who trusts me to not let her be hit. I would say this doesn`t respect my
space. Worse if this happens permanently in an environment where it is not
uncommon to collide with other dancers.
