Subject: dancing with a couch?
Hello, Tango-L. It has been a while since I wrote. I traveled to BsAs
alone in November for a week - darned glad I went then given recent news.
Since I had lots of free time, I did some drawings there: Ideal/Lo de
Celia/Espaniol/Grisel....plus a few around town. I don't know how to post
these on the web, so perhaps someone can help.
Moving the Couch: When I carry the couch (as I did just yesterday),
generally I keep my feet close to the ground, I take small steps, and I am
always careful that my partner is with me every step of the way. If I am
not paying attention, I knock into the wall, hurt someone, and maybe fall
flat.
Gee, I like this analogy with Tango....Dancing with a couch. It may work
for those who insist on high flying stunts that hurt everyone in a 5 foot
radius. I could suggest more extreme measures for them, but a couch is
perhaps most appropriate.
Glad to hear BsAs is back in business, sort of. Hope those foreigners keep
their feet down with all the excitement. I know many of my friends will be
down there in the next 6 weeks. Lucky them!
