Subject: About Tango, love and FREE MILONGAS during FESTIVALS!!!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well and tangoing as much as your
feet can stand.
I'm preparing for Buenos Aires! I'm leaving next Thursday, and know that
some of you are going to CITA, so I look foward to see you there.
I wanted to contact you all in order to announce again the First NEO TANGO
Festival in Sacramento CALIFORNIA, of which you will find more information
detailed below. I enthusiastically recommend you attend this event, as much
as I ask your spiritual tango support! I'm personally helping to build up
this Tango Festival which requires a lot of my time and that of my friends
living there in Sacramento. As most of you might know, I'm also taking care
of my tango community here in Paris, France, teaching at my tango school,
organizing my annual Tango Festival in Paris, etc etc etc. My only goal with
this project is to help grow tango in this small yet dedicated and very nice
tango community. You might wonder why? Well, let me tell you that over the
last two years I heard a lot about this community since I was involved in a
long-distance relationship with a local tanguera there that I met in Buenos
Aires. All the things I've heard from her, helped me to understand how
important it is to have a resident Argentine tango teacher living in a city
or to have annual events organized. None of those are offered in Sacramento
regularly yet they have visiting teachers returning yearly. I must confess
that from hours of long-distant calls, talking most of the time about tango,
I grew to understand tango in a lot of different ways. At the beginning I
differed about many things and I fought against my "Argentine way" of
thinking and seeing Argentine Tango and all that it involves. But in the
end, I understood that tango touches the deepest feelings within the human
soul regardless of which country you come from. This experience enriched me
and I felt I owed something to this community and this special person in my
life. So that's why several months ago, I took the initiative of
co-organizing this event, although it is such a small tango community and I
don't know most of them. See what things love and tango make us do?

Now, getting back to the festival! All of the teachers invited to this
Festival will be going to the States for the FIRST TIME !!! I'm sure that if
you have been 'tangueando' in Argentina, or Europe (or Asia : s ) you might
have heard of them very often. These are my colleagues and are also great
friends, commited to helping develop the Tango in Sacramento. They were very
helpful since the beginning and ethusiastic about participating in such a
BIG, FIRST EVENT in the California's Capital. Many thanks to them.

tango event!
And remember that this might be one of the only opportunities you have to
learn from these great teachers for a while.
