dear tangueros and tangueras,

this is a sad day for all of us... in fact i'm writing this in
tears...alberto toledano has passed away...he was a dedicated collaborator to
*la voz del tango,* since its inception, had a sharp, bright mind, his own
unique style of dancing, and best of all, he was a good friend.

alberto was a teacher, choreographer, and performer along with loreen
arbus, his dance partner of many years, they headed *tanguero
productions.*

my understanding is that six weeks ago he was diagnosed with pancreatic
cancer, and suffered severe pain. god bless his soul.

memorial services at grave site will be held tomorrow, tuesday, november 26,
2002, 11:00 a.m. at:

hillside memorial park

los angeles, ca 90045
