459  Buenos Aires in June???

Subject: Buenos Aires in June???

A question for the collective wisdom. I'm planning a tango trip to
Buenos Aires with a couple of friends and the most convenient time seems
to be late May into June. However, I've been told that is a less
desirable time to visit Argentina because it is winter and there is some
speculation that its also a "down time" for tango. Is this a good time
to go? Should we hold off a few months, perhaps try to go in August?
How cold is the Argentine winter? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Last time I went in November, and most of the friends I know who have
traveled there visited between November and April, so I have very little
perspective on what it would be like in June. Thanks in advance.
