(Cuarteto)."Click there - this takes you to another window with 7 CDs. Some

Gardel era.
Lots of chords, mostly guitar. Some are instrumental and some have a singer
with a nice voice.
Les Milongues de Antigone (another CD) allows listening it is sang in
French.
Presentation:
This string quartet plus bandoneon left Argentina for France sometime in the
1970s, and they now live in Paris.
They not only interpret the classics of the repertoire but also produce
music of their own - much in the style of the original Tangos. Some of their
compositions are truly inspired. A record to be labelled "The Best of the
Cuarteto Cedron" is long overdue, and awaited. The lyrics of their songs
often tend to romanticism of a political nature which brings a special
flavor to their music. The cello and violin are forefront in the
arrangements. The deep voice of Cedron is very expressive.
Although difficult to find in North America, their recordings, once found,
reward the listener. The best way to find them is to try French channels of
distribution.
During the two last years, most of their recordings have been re-issued in
Buenos Aires; videoclips are now often presented on the TV Station of FM
Tango in Buenos Aires; and a recording of Tangos, Milongas and a Candombe!
called Aparicisn urbana was released in August, 1996.
Daniel Saindon
They play nice music with guitar, piano, violon, Bandoneon. Sometimes they
use Flute.

Listeros,
I'm not sure whom to thank, Sergio or Daniel Saindon,
for the great info on this group. So, I will thank you
both. I'm not sure quite how that post came about, but
the main thing is that I learned a lot about a group
whom I don't know. They sound terrific!
