Subject: My favorite rejection story

My favorite rejection story goes back several years. I was at one of those week long tango festivals (boot camp as I call it). After a few days everyone is so weary. My girlfriend O was at the milonga sitting dwon. One of the great guest Maestro's came by and invited her to dance. She looked up at him and "Oh no, my feet hurt too much." I am sure it had easily been half a century or more since this man was rejected. He looked shocked but went away gracefully. I though she was the epitome of cool self sufficiency, rejecting the Super Star.

So sometimes even the Big Dogs, the Alpha Wolves and the Dominas get rejected. Whomever does the asking always assumes the risk.

Regards,

Sarah
