Dear List,

Please give me some advice on this matter.

I'd found an on-line seller of bandoneons at https://www.biancos.8m.com/ .

They appeared to be a trusted seller of bandoneons.

I've ordered an instrument for $1800. Of course I've paid in advance. I did have him send me invoice and paid by bank transfer.

The instrument did not arrive, it _truly_ seems to be lost in post. (of course if he has good connections at the Uruguay post...)

However, Mr. Bianco does not seem to be too willing to send me a replacement for free. (he claims an other $425 to send me a bandoneon of =
yet unknown origin and quality)

I do not know whether he is a fraud or not.

Please, are there anyone who has any experience with them?

Are there anyone on the list from Montevideo, Uruguay?

Does anyone know anything about legal proceedings in Uruguay or cross-border claims? (can I retrieve my money somehow?)
