Subject: Fwd: Killing tango
I've read a number of messages on this subject. I'm going to add
personalities to the discussion.
The "killing tango" messages remind me of some volunteers in non profit
organizations. Some are unhappy in their life (marriage, work, etc.) and
join non profit organizations to feel better about themselves by running
for office, especially president. Even if the organization only meets once
a month, for that meeting, that person is important and gets the attention
and respect from members that is otherwise missing.
I remember one message where the teacher leads a woman in a "gotcha step"
to prove superiority. Sounds just like the person who wants to fill "big"
at somebody else's expense.
Tango is very powerful, more powerful than I first thought. I thought
tango was just a dance. WRONG!! Tango can be used for good (build self
esteem, confidence) or for evil (controlling).
I remember a science fiction movie (don't remember the name) where a
scientist said some new power could be used for good -- or for evil. Tango
can be used the same way, for good -- or for evil. It's up to each of us
to use it wisely.
