THE CHARLESTON ARGENTINE TANGO SOCIETY WISHES TO THANK TEO AND MARSHA
BARTEK OF GAINESVILLE,FL FOR THEIR RECENT VISIT WITH US.
We have found we are all quite changed by our experience of Teo and
Marsha's recent Close-Embrace Tango Workshop TANGO FROM THE HEART!
No ordinary direction to do this and that step and then try to recall
it in a dance....The Barteks infused us with a sense of peace and
respect for ourselves, other dancers,and The Dance itself.They have an
amazing understanding of the deeper aspects of Argentine Tango coupled
with the talent to work with dancers at several levels at once while
providing personal attention! By the end of the first day,we had an
amazing comfort level with each other,even those we met for the first
time.Teo and Marsha's energy brought to the fore the deeper
"spiritual"aspects of this beautiful dance by embodying it in their
approach and leaving us with the feeling of having been to a new level
of experience,one which we will continue to seek.They generously
provided us with an outline from which to draw inspiration as well as
advice for physical practice.As their special gift to us,a few very
HOT dances were performed for our delight.Their strong connection as a
couple was beautifully demonstrated and felt in their dance.This has
been the most amazing workshop experience we've had and we feel we
have made new friends as well.Looking forward to many heartfelt
tangos!
