If you are planning a trip to Buenos Aires, or if you
are interested in understanding the culture and
"codigos" of the milongas in that city, or if you just
want to learn to dance simply and passionately, with
"sentimiento" and with the music, I urge you to check
out Jon and Judy through their website,
www.TangoWithJudy.com.
Jon and Judy are Americans who have lived in Buenos
Aires for many years, and who understand, as few
Americans do, how the Portenos dance tango socially.
What is more, Jon and Judy are great
communicators--witty, energetic, and fun.
I had the pleasure of putting them up at my house last
weekend while they were doing workshops in Petaluma,
California. They were such a hit that I refused to let
them return my housekey when they
left. We all want them to come back!

Last yeat Jon and Judy showed us the best time while we were in BsAs
and they also showed one of my best friends the best New Years Eve they ever
saw.
They know everyone in the city and know just were to go.
They also translated a Milonga lessons we had with Danie Garcia.
And on top of it
Jon and Judy will be in Cleveland Aug 30 thru Sept 5
I hope everyone can come and see this exciting couple
I have a great week planed for them.

Subject: Thank you Jon and Judy
Several people who just saw Judy and Jon in Pittsburgh last weekend, are
coming to Cleveland this weekend to see more of them, and to take more private
lessons with them.
Here is a real nice letter from one of their students
Dear Jon and Judy:
I have been pondering my private lesson with you yesterday, and why it was so
hugely valuable and uniquely enjoyable. As I'm sure you know, students
always respond to teachers who want them to learn and grow. I certainly
felt
your encouragement, felt I was in good hands, and appreciated the easy
atmosphere
you established for learning.
To be able to dance -- at length -- with a master (a teaching master as well
as a dance master), to have a second pair of masterful eyes watching and
correcting, to hear the concepts conveyed in the clearest of language, to
have so
much material covered, and covered well, to get misunderstandings of
technique
cleared up, to be able to say "Eureka! Now I get it!" and to be smiling the
whole time -- that's the richest of experiences.
So I thank you again. I look forward to your return to Pittsburgh. And I
hope to find a way to continue our conversation in Buenos Aires one of these
days.
Be well and best regards,
Barbara Davis
You can see Judy Margolis and Jon this weekend in Cleveland, Ohio
