Subject: "La Catedral", thank you!!!

As the organizers of the "Tango Confessions" evening at 'La Catedral'
held in Greater Los Angeles, California this past Saturday October 29th,
we would like to sincerely thank each and everyone who attended.>
We particularly extend our gratitude to those of you who had to
travel such long distances, from San Diego, Santa Barbara, San
Francisco, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Seattle, Portland, and beyond.

You all made a memorable evening even more magical than everyone
expected.
The quality of dancing was superb: we felt blessed that the very best
dancers from the West Coast gathered at this unique place for one
evening truly worthy of tango's deserved mystique. And judging by how
late most of you stayed (many beyond 3am) it seemed no one wanted the
evening to end.
And, of course, the performances: Sandor & Parisa's spectacular
acrobatic displays of strength and the dramatic, and Chicho & Lucia's
astounding improvisational renditions filled with a unique blend
of musicality and virtuosity were the centerpiece of this unforgettable
night.
The warm California evening felt tropical and exotic, fired by the
rare, humid nearby presence of a hurricane, added to the charged
spirituality and energy of the place, fueled by dancers lost in the
music, their craft, and each other. One of those special moments that
can never be repeated. How fitting we should have tango in a former
place of worship for immigrants.
We welcome your feedback and comments (the good, the bad or the ugly)
so that we can make the next "Tango Confessions" at 'La Catedral' an
even more divine experience.
