Dear friends from Tango list
Lagrima Rios is a female tango singer , from Uruguay . As a child she has
known Carlos Gardel , when Gardel visit Montevideo , looking for a guitarist
.
She is also called "the black pearl of tango", since Lagrima Rios comes
from a native family , where some of their elders had afro-uruguayan roots.

I have been looking for her recordings, here in Buenos Aires, but it was
almost impossible. Even in specialized music houses , that have stock of
uruguayan music.

But I found a site in internet, that belongs to the most popular music
house of Montevideo , El Palacio de la Musica. And they have the CD of
Lagrima Rios , "Cantando sueños" , which is the one I am looking for.

I pass this information for the list, just in case someone want to look for
uruguayan tango musicians or singers , not available at music houses in
Buenos Aires, as this case. Lagrima Rios is known , but it seems nobody are
interested in Buenos Aires to have her recordings, a pity considering is a
living legend.
