Sad news indeed. I met Norma several years ago and always enjoyed meeting
her and dancing with her a various events. She came to Atlanta to joins us
in tango events and it seems I always saw her in Miami. I will miss her
conversation, kindness and her dancing too.

We mourn the loss of Norma Greco to our international Tango community.
I remember dancing with Norma in NYC and she danced a beautiful milonguera
style.
She was also great fun at the tango asado (Argentine BBQ) we held last
summer.
I have a 'Dance More Tango' shoe bag that Norma hand made and I will now
always think of her as I change my shoes in the milonga in preparation for
the tango.
May her spirit live on through our dance...
Respectfully
Lexa Rosian

with her friends in Buenos Aires.I had also the posibility to know her
friends from Miami two years ago, when I visited her.

With great sorrow we join all of our Tango friends in remembering a very
dear, special friend, Norma Greco. She will be missed at all the Miami
milongas and to think that her "Dance More Tango" will never again be
presented at our USTC Tango Fantasy events is unconceivable and very sad.

To our Special Friend Norma, you will always be in our hearts.

We will miss you,

Randy & Lydia

My wife and I would like to mention that a real Tanguera will be sadly
missed.

We met her last March when I attended a conference held in Fort Lauderdale.

We were given her name as a reference from our good friends from the the
Boston Tango Society.

All I can say is that it was a real pleasure to meet and dance with her.

She was a classy women who really loved and promoted the Tango from
Argentina.

Her heart was tango,...............Her life was tango,....................Her
whole existence was tango, so much so that Norma turned her double garage
into a dance studio, just for the purpose of practicing tango steps.

About August of 1995, just six months or so after I started dancing tango,
Norma invited me to practice a choreography to the magnificent tango
"Inspiración," so we could present it at the Inauguration Party of the
Hallandale Community Center. We practiced in her studio for two whole months,
and had set up a magnificent "Grand Finale," which worked perfectly, with the
last note of the song.

The place was packed, but not with tangueros at the time. It was my first
show, and I got so wrapped up in the music and in having such a beautiful
woman and wonderful dancer in my arms that the music ended and we were still
dancing.....I forgot the Grand Finale......

I can't remember how many times we had huge arguments because of her smoking,
I know I was a pest, but at the next milonga, she was the first one I would
look for to dance that very important "First tango."

Normita, the tango world will miss you, all your friends will miss you,
however, wherever you are, I know you will build a nice dance studio, and you
will be practicing tango steps.

Dance more tango Normita, we will proudly wear your T-shirts and carry our
shoes in your shoe bags.

With love and regret,

Frank Sasson

Hola friends of Norma,

I was so touched by the outpouring of sentiment for
this lady. I never met her, or know anything about
her, but I wish I had. What a wonderful tribute. I can
only hope that I will be remembered some day in the
same way when it's time for me to meet my maker. :)

I also am grateful that so many people have shown this wonderful lady their
homage and gratitude.
I would just like to say, why is it we wait until someone passes to say
something nice, or just thank you for what you've done.
Please stop and think of someone living now, but maybe not for long, that you
should stop and say thank you.
