You know, piropos aren't very hard if you just put a little heart into it.

It is as simple as saying:

"You know what is special about you...the sparkle in your eyes."
"I really like the connection I feel when you dance."
"I saw your smile from across the room".

How often to you finish a tango and NOT say something complementary?

Guys! I think most of women welcome such flattery. It needn't be
"high art" like the argentines, it can just be a sincere thank you,
which is always better if it includes a specific comment.

The concerns about rudeness in tango are overblown (have you been to
a salsa club lately), but I do think courtesy, generosity, and
plain-old, common-sense social behavior could be practiced more often.

we must not forget, though, that the way a woman responds to a piropo
(either to encourage or discourage) is a high art as well. It would be
interesting to have a piropo/comeback contest on this list, just for fun.
